PASSOVER

Psalms 103:2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

The benefits are listed through verse 18, but verse 3 contains the top two: forgiveness of sin and healing of diseases.  Forgiveness of sin—that is what Passover is all about.  What a benefit!  In the very same breath the claim is made that healing our diseases is also a major benefit.  What a blessing this is, also.  God is so concerned with our health that this major benefit is listed in second place right after forgiveness of our sins.  Yet, it seems that there are no dramatic healings today. Every week in services we hear prayer requests for healing of the sick in our midst or the announcement of the death of someone who went unhealed.  As we will see presently, healing and the Passover are inextricably linked together.

ANNUAL HOLY DAYS

Today is February 23, 2006 as I start to put this paper together.  Let us take a close look at God’s Annual Holy Days and the End time virgins within God’s Church who will find themselves in many different sinning situations as they wake up from their spiritual slumber.

Mat 25:1  Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

Mat 25:2  And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

Mat 25:3  They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

Mat 25:4  But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

Mat 25:5  While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

Mat 25:6  And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

Mat 25:7  Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

Do not fool yourself.  If you are not spiritually asleep when this cry at midnight goes out you are not counted among the virgins.  In verse 5 it says ALL slumbered and slept.

THE PHYSICAL CREATION

Is the physical creation something that was imitated or copied from the spiritual creation?  Today is the Sabbath of August 26, 2000, as I start this paper. I am just finishing two papers, Our Delivery from Slavery and an addition to Satan’s Execution.  They have led to a completely new line of thought about the spiritual creation and the physical.  I had visited this line of thought over the years, just in and out with no clear-cut answers. Possibly some of you who will eventually read this paper have wondered about this too.  For instance Ezek 1:10:

Ezekiel 1:10 As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.

All these faces are found in the physical creation, not only the faces but also the complete body.  Thoughts about these creatures have drifted in and out of my mind over the years. Why are they like this?  That is what I want to explain in this paper. What is God saying to us through his word a little here, a little there, Isa. 28:10?
