Co-Worker Letter Sept 2018
WATER, RIVER OF LIFE
Hello, my Friends,
In this co-worker letter let us take a real close look at the River of Life. We all know that without physical water, almost nothing physical could exist. Some dessert dwelling small animals never drink water but get the water they need from the things they eat. The River Of Life described in the verses below is in a category all by itself. Living water from the River of Life is something we will have to access for ever.
Rev 22:1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
Rev 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
Rev 22:3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
Rev 22:4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
Rev 22:5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
We need to take a real close look at the verses above. Consider in verse 1 that there only two sources of this water of life, the Fathers Throne and the Lambs (Christ) Throne. Why is this water called water of life? BECAUSE IT IMPARTS LIFE TO THOSE WHO PARTAKE OF IT. Stop and think a minute. If we are Sons and Daughters of God and Christ is our big brother, are we not self existing? NO. If this is water of life coming from The Fathers and Christ throne, what happens if we do not partake of it eat what it produces. IS THE RESULTS DEATH?
Rev 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Rev 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
Notice in verse 14 and 17 above it speaks of the tree of life and the water of life. Think about this if this tree and water produces life, will death be the results of not partaking of these two sources of life? God is not playing games with this, it means what it says. We as Sons and Daughters of God will not be self existent. We will have to access the water of life continuously to live for ever. Christ and the Father are the only true Self Existing Beings.
Joh 4:6 Now Jacob’s well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.
Joh 4:7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.
Joh 4:8 (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)
Joh 4:9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
Joh 4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
Joh 4:11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?
Joh 4:12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?
Joh 4:13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
Joh 4:14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
Joh 4:15 The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.
In verse 10 Christ was doing the talking here. Christ told the woman about living water. He said he could give her living water. Continuing in verse 14 Christ said that this living water that he could give would spring up into everlasting life. So if this living water could spring up into everlasting life, what happens if we don’t get the water of life? It is very clear the opposite would be everlasting death. Brethren I hope you are beginning to see that we have to have this water of life to live for ever. Without it, we die for ever.
Brethren there have been a huge misunderstanding about eternal life. True we will be Sons and Daughters of God. We will be Spirit Beings, Composed of Spirit. We can live for ever. But there is a condition to living forever. That condition is that we will have to partake of the water of life thru what it produces.
Does this mean that we will have to drink water from the river of life with a cup or glass every day? Let look at some verses that shed more light on this subject. What about the Marriage Supper?
Luk 22:18 For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.
Mar 14:25 Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.
Mat 26:29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.
Look at the 3 verses above. They are all in red letters which means Christ was doing the talking. A lot of Bibles have Christ words in Red Letters. The Fruit of the Vine is Wine. Christ said he would no longer drink wine until he drank it new in the Fathers Kingdom. What does this tell us? It tells us that in Gods kingdom there are vineyards which produce grapes which are made into wine. These verses make it clear that this is in the Kingdom of God. This is Spiritual, not Physical. All 3 verses make it clear that this is in the Kingdom when we are spirit beings. We are no longer physical flesh. In the Kingdom, there will be Spirit Vines growing Spirit Grapes, which are made into Spirit Wine. Let’s get this clear. These Spirit vineyards grow from the Water of Life which comes from the Fathers and Christ’s throne and will be dispersed to all parts of the cosmos where it is needed.
Luk 14:16 Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many:
Luk 14:17 And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.
Luk 14:18 And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.
Luk 14:19 And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.
Luk 14:20 And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.
Luk 14:21 So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind.
Luk 14:22 And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room.
Luk 14:23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
Luk 14:24 For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.
There are three very important principles in the 9 verses above in Luke. The Marriage Supper, how people reject their calling, and which people are most likely to reject their calling.
Look at the Marriage Supper first. The church is Christ’s Bride. At the resurrection, we will be married to Christ. I have some trouble putting all of that is the right perspective. We are Christ brothers and sisters also. We will understand it all eventually. Our main goal should be to just get there and then let God take care of all the details. In Most societies in this world today there is usually a meal, dinner or some kind of event to recognize and honor the marriage. This Marriage Supper that the Father and Christ put on will be the biggest thing in history up to that point no doubt. I intend to be there.
Now, look at the excuses listed above that humans used to reject their calling. One man said he had bought a piece of land and he needed to go look at it. Another man said he had bought some oxen and need to go test them. Another man said he had just got married and could not come. These men let the cares of the world cost them their chance to live forever. What this says is humans will make any kind of excuse to not obey God. That means they will miss out on living for ever and be dead for ever.
There is one more important thing in verse24. This is talking entirely about men. Women are not mentioned. The word men in verse 24, means A, MAN, A, FELLOW A, MALE, A, HUSBAND OR A, SIR. Dose this tell us that there will be more women in the Kingdom than there will be men. That is what it tells me. So us men better pay attention to Gods word and be more diligent, or we can miss our chance at eternal life.
Luk 8:11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
Luk 8:12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
Luk 8:13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
Luk 8:14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
Verse 14 above warns us about letting the cares of this world destroy our calling.
No wonder the Bible say in two places that many are called and few are chosen.
Mat 20:16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen
Mat 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.
When you study into this two verses, it is very scary what God says will happen. Most of all humans will reject their calling and not be in the King of God.
Let us continue with this line of thought in the verses below. In verses below the Marriage Supper is describe again. A lot of the people who had been called made their excuses to not obey God, and will miss out on living forever. In verses 9 and 10, God sends his end time servants to make one last push to get people to repent and come to the marriage supper. If you stay in Gods church for many years like I have, you will be astonished at how many people reject their calling and let the cares of the world take them away into everlasting death. They think it is more important to do physical things than to obey God.
Mat 22:1 And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said,
Mat 22:2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,
Mat 22:3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.
Mat 22:4 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.
Mat 22:5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:
Mat 22:6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.
Mat 22:7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.
Mat 22:8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.
Mat 22:9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.
Mat 22:10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.
Mat 22:11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:
Mat 22:12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
Mat 22:13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Mat 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.
Consider in verse 4 above the quote below.
“I have prepared my dinner my oxen and fatlings are killed.”
Did you get that? There will be SPIRIT CATTLE KILLED FOR US TO EAT AT THE MARRIGE SUPPER. We will get into this in more detail in the Oct. Co-Worker letter. This is truly a fascinating subject as to what our life will be like in the Kingdom of God. It sure will be different from what I envision 50 years ago.
